| The New Brunswick Dental Society requires dentists to complete a competency course and register with the Society before administering minimal and moderate oral sedation to their adult patients.

| Pediatric Sedation |
|
| Sedation dentistry for children is a unique science and requires pediatric-specific training. The standard of care for providing pediatric sedation requires several hours of instructive classroom training with clinically-oriented experiences. This training is available in DC.
